July 13 - The "2012 Report on Development of Corporate Foundations in China" was released on July 13. According to the report, in 2010 corporate charity foundations in China earned a total of 1.4 billion RMB. 1.317 billion RMB, or 92.31%, of which were collected through donations; total expenditure in 2010 was 850 million RMB, accounting for 59.65% of annual revenue. Categories of expenditures are as follow: charity contribution (96.7%), administrative expenses (1.3%), staff compensation (0.9%). Education programs received the biggest share of investment, accruing over 190 million RMB.
