Since its inception, ACF has enjoyed wide support from Amway distributors. The Spring Sprout Project, an initiative by ACF to improve nutrition of poor children in rural areas, has been widely recognized for its concrete results. As of 2012, the Project has set up over 750 kitchens in 45 counties of 8 provinces, benefitting over 350,000 rural children.

Now over 26 million children in impoverished rural areas in China are affected by malnutrition and inadequate meals. In order for more children to get healthy, nutritious food, ACF, in cooperation with China National Committee for the Care of Children (CNCCC), has set up a “Spring Sprout Fund” at China Next Generation Education Foundation (CNGEF) in Oct 2012 to support the Spring Sprout Project.
